LED THERAPY

LED Therapy is a process call “Photobiomodulation” – light alters biological matter. Simple terms, LED (Light Emitting Diodes) deliver energy to the skin through light, biologically altering the skin based on the colour/wavelength the LED Machine is emitting. Some wavelengths of visible light alter our skin for the better and LED Therapy is a source that delivers that energy. Our new Bio Synthesis™ LED Therapy Machine is clinically proven.

Our clinically proven machine is able to offer three main wavelengths,
targeting different skin concerns:

Blue Light – 415nm

Blue light reduces activity in the sebaceous glands, which are small oil producing glands in the skin. This reduction in activity causes the glands to produce less oil, improving acne symptoms. Blue light also kills a type of bacterial acne that irritates the pilosebaceous unit and initials inflammation.

Red Light – 633nm

Red light has been shown to improve scarring and signs of aging, such as wrinkles. It does this by acting on fibroblasts, which are skin cells that are responsible for collagen production. Collagen is a protein in the skin and other connective tissues, it places a role in skin healing also. The body produces less collagen and elastin as a person ages, which causes the skin to show signs of aging. Red light also reduces skin inflammation caused by trauma, acne, rosacea, wound healing, sun damage and post peel.

Yellow Light – 590nm

Yellow light is known for its ability to increase hydration and skin thickness. Beneficial for impaired barriers from conditions like rosacea or sun damage. Yellow light is also beneficial after treatments including Laser, Skin Needling and Deeper Peels. It does this by activating cells in the epidermis (ATP Adenosine Triphosphate Cells) allowing the cells to regenerate and heal.

Your settings are tailored on the day but we choose from:

1- Hydration & Rejuvenation

2- Anti-Aging

3- Problematic Skin

4- Pigment Minimising & Brightening

5- Inflamation – Rosacea
